Local Norfolk landscape paintings in mixed media, reflecting the partnership between nature and farming in a contemporary style, exploring agricultural mark making, colours, weather and movement.

Sarah finds the visual pull of the Norfolk landscape and sea views compelling, having grown up on the coast and translating surroundings in her own colourist, semi abstract painting style. Sarah says "I find the coast and farming the land, magnetic, having watched my family follow the contours on tractors, within their agricultural business. The relationship between farmers, land and the resulting mark making - scoring the soil, is symbiotic, often drawing abstraction into the earth".
Sarah Bowett attended Norwich School of Art, Loughborough Collegel of Art, and Cyprus College of art.
