Peter Birkbeck is a jeweller who was brought up in South Wales and lives and works in his home workshop near the North Norfolk coast. Every piece is handmade in silver or gold using a range of techniques. Peter is often inspired by the natural world and experiments with organic forms and a variety of gem stones and metal finishes. His portfolio includes rings, bracelets and bangles, pendants and necklaces, brooches, earrings and small pieces of silverware. Commissions have included work from clients' designs, recycling projects creating modern pieces from inherited jewellery that re-uses gems and precious metals, as well as repairing and repurposing existing pieces. He has also worked alongside individual clients to create jewellery for special occasions including anniversaries, birthdays and weddings.
