Description:
I use bold colours in vivid pastels and gouache paint. My subjects include Folk Art, allegorical pieces with layered meaning, and still life, where the titles allude to a drama beyond the frame.

Patricia studied for her art foundation at Colchester School of Art and graduated from Central Saint Martins in applied textile design. As a studio designer for Liberty & Co, she created Tana lawn and Veruna wool ranges; as a freelancer, her designs sold in the UK and internationally. She graduated as an art specialist teacher from Goldsmiths College, exhibited in London galleries, and became an accidental illustrator working for, amongst others, IPC Magazines (Women’s Journal), Quadrant Design Associates, City Limits, and Vauxhall Motors. Patricia has exhibited widely throughout East Anglia. In 2024, Patricia ‘Julia laughed as the petals fell’ was selected for the Sir John Hurt Art Prize Exhibition (Holt festival). In 2025, she enjoyed a successful show in the Walsingham Picture and Framing Gallery in Great Walsingham.
