Description:
I paint in acrylics and like to vary the subject and size of my paintings. I work in both traditional and experimental styles, inspired by the Norfolk landscape, by nature and by still life study.

From Sheringham head to A148 and turn left towards Cromer. Take next right onto Gibbet Lane. Continue straight to T junction. Turn left into Mill Lane and Holt Road. After 0.7 miles look for footpath sign and red bin. Directly opposite is a driveway to The Old Rectory and The Pightle. Follow drive to the right.
From Holt head to A148 towards Cromer. Turn right at Bodham and continue through the village to West Beckham. Keep on this road into Mill Lane Gresham and then follow directions above.
Having studied painting and pottery at college, I spent many years teaching in both junior and secondary schools in Bedfordshire and Norwich. I now run a painting group near Norwich which has been thriving since 2009.
Whilst I have always enjoyed experimenting with varied techniques and subjects, a move to North Norfolk in 2017 has given focus to more local landscapes with work in both traditional and experimental styles.
My paintings are mainly worked in acrylic on canvas or board and sizes range from 9x12” to 48x60”
