2009 - Current
I continue to explore new ideas and ways of working in oils, print and mixed media. Culminating in both two and three dimensional pieces. I am a member of Norfolk Contemporary Arts Society & Cromer artspace. I attend lectures at various venues including The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. I run art courses in my studio and give talks, workshops and presentations to arts groups.

1999 – 2009
An opportunity for a new studio space presented itself and in 1999 together with seven other artists Callowland Independent Artists was formed. Working with these artists provided me with new challenges, support and collaboration on a variety of projects. It was here that I developed and produced a new body of work creating a series of sculptures, collagraphs and woodcuts experimenting with texture and scale.

1993 – 1999
In 1993 my artistic career expanded when I moved to France and produced six exhibitions over three years, including a solo show. In 1993 I became a member of Estampes Atelier a group of French printmakers with whom I exhibited, also winning a prize for printmaking. Throughout my time in France I worked as an art lecturer in drawing, painting and printmaking.

1990 – 1993
In 1990 my work took me to London where I concentrated on drawing and printmaking, taking further courses in lithography, screen printing and etching at Central St Martins and the London College of Printing; this work resulted in further exhibitions in London.

1988 – 1990
Whilst in my last year at Portsmouth University The Creasey Collection of Contemporary Art purchased my painting ‘Dripstone’. My first solo exhibition took place at the Art Centre Gallery, Portsmouth in 1989.
