We are situated behind Duration Brewery at Abbey Farm, West Acre, close to West Acre Gallery.
I grew up and still live in Norfolk where I take a lot inspiration from nature and wildlife. I painted on and off as a hobby before starting a Diploma in Art and Design in 2021 where I discovered a love for colour and my work has developed from there.
I love the evening light and night-time and I'm intrigued by the things happening and lives living while the world sleeps. I love the moon and the power it has so most of my paintings include a full golden moon.
I love hares especially- there is so much mythology around them, my favourites being that they are goddesses and shapeshifters. They are solitary creatures and live by the moon- how they feel and behave is affected by the phases of it.
I have shown my paintings at local exhibitions and art fairs and have been successful in selling my original work as well as taking commissions. I also have my work in Artstar gallery in Thornham. I have prints of my original paintings and print designs that are hand embellished in gold leaf as alternatives to my original pieces too.
