Description:
My work is varied and I experiment with different mediums. Pastels is a favourite medium but oils is a close second. I paint nature - landscapes, seascapes and animals. I teach and I also print.

A1065 from Fakenham. Right to Castle Acre - Newton Lane. Turn right - North Street, Fork right - Orchard Lane. Follow the signs to my studio which is a short walk down my private drive at side of 1 St James Green - this is on the fork of Orchard lane and North Street (with a white conservatory). Go to right of white garages, through garden gate. Studio is at bottom of garden.
I'm an artist / art teacher / printer in my studio in Castle Acre. I teach to small groups of beginners / intermediates. I also run a variety of workshops in most mediums all year round.
Myself, I enjoy working in pastels and oils, I love experimenting with techniques and mediums which is why my work is so varied.
I also print limited edition reduction linocut prints and I have been working on my 'North Norfolk favourite places' and nature with 'Otter Love' and 'Love-a-hare' being published in the book 'Beauty of the Beast' by Mascot media.
I love inspiring others to enjoy art, be courageous and making it fun - 'it's just a piece of paper' and ' every mistake is a good lesson learned' and one of my favourite 'Don't be afraid of the darks'.
My studio is nearly always open for visitors but I maybe out with the dogs, so a quick call to ensure I'm in for answers to questions, general art help or bookings for courses, art demos /workshops.
I also do arty drop ins - (Tuesday afternoons at the moment) small groups of 4-5 for those who want to paint, have a cuppa and a natter. for more info give me a call. Bring your own paints / paper and most other equipment is provided.
Oh, I almost forgot, I'm also an author! A children's illustrated author! I have my first book published - the first in a series of 8!
