Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. If you want to check the dates either go to the editing area in the Members' area or have a look at your actual artist page by clicking on your image here

My name is Jackie Dorras, I began life in London and moved to Norfolk when I got married. My practice developed after a BA and an MA at Norwich Art School. I then spent many years working in the Norfolk Museum Service providing art workshops for all ages and connected to an enormous variety of exhibitions.
I have enjoyed over 20 years as a lecturer in both subjects of Art and Textiles. The continuous conversation between my students as artists and my own practice has kept me experimenting as well as keeping my curiosity in the world around me.
My current work explores The Rookery. The assemblage of line and form made naturally by wild creatures fascinates me as I experiment with both 2D and 3D Materials.
