I'm a contemporary multi-disciplinary artist working with painting, print and assorted mixed media. My intuitive, process-led practice combines bold colour, layered surfaces, rapid drawing and humour. My work balances recognisable forms with abstraction, creating playful yet reflective compositions that invite emotional connection.

Having not been to art school meant all my creative studies were independent - learning skills and methods as I came across new materials and processes. Exploration and experimentation have always been a priority.

Drawing from life is an essential element of my practice and an important discipline, whether from the nude model or faces from across continents on zoom sessions. Although much of my work involves the human figure and many concepts arise from a subconscious experience, my neighbour, The Priory has been a source of inspiration this year.
