Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. If you want to check the dates either go to the editing area in the Members' area or have a look at your actual artist page by clicking on your image here

I originally trained in textiles at Leeds College of Art & Design where I completed a BA hons Degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. I then gradually moved towards painting experimenting in many different styles from coastal landscapes to more imaginative playful landscapes which definitely reflect my training in surface pattern design. I have always looked to the beautiful Norfolk Coast for inspiration and enjoy visiting in all weathers to experience it’s ever changing mood.

I developed my unique 3D sailing boats in 2016 where the sail becomes my canvas, I haven’t stopped painting and developing them since. I love the restrictions of this unusual canvas shape and creating a story and adventure for each boat to fulfill. The sailboat hulls are made from a mix reclaimed wood and driftwood.
