Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. If you want to check the dates either go to the editing area in the Members' area or have a look at your actual artist page by clicking on your image here

I have been painting for over thirty years and studied Art and Design at Norwich City College. I am now happily settled on the Norfolk Broads and have a studio in the garden. During my artistic career I have used several different styles and media but am nowconcentrating on mixed media collage and monoprinting, very often combining the two.
My collages are made mostly from original monoprints, but sometimes I add other printed material, such as newspapers, magazines and textile fragments. I make the monoprints in batches without any idea of what they may be used for. When starting a collage I sometimes begin with an acrylic underpainting and then cut or tear the monoprints I have selected into either defined or random shapes. These are then used to make an image on paper or board, usually semi-abstract. Sometimes I have a loose idea of the subject but the composition is mostly undefined at the beginning and arises organically as I work with various prints and papers
