I work in watercolours, oils and mixed media. Often painting plein air with some paintings completed/finished in the studio. Additionally I enjoy making lino cut and woodcut prints.

From A149 Stalham road, turn into new road to Catfield Village. Left onto the Street. House/Studio is on the right, 80 yards before shop on the sharp corner. Please park opposite on the Street.
I am a self taught artist (although I have been on some great courses). I paint primarily with oils and watercolours and enjoy printmaking using lino cuts and more recently woodcuts too. I also enjoy drawing and working with charcoal.
I love to paint plein air, with my artwork being painted in situ or inspired from sketching in the field. I find the whole experience of painting and sketching in the landscape immersive and inspiring.
Artists that I love are Edward Seago (whose paintings in Norwich Castle Musuem inspired me to paint after not doing it since school), Sorolla, Singer Sargent, and Henry Bright among others.
My hobbies include walking, cycling, and getting out in Larkspur, my little rowing boat (a source of inspiration, and I often sketch or paint from my boat). We are lucky to live in a beautiful area of Norfolk with many amazing landscapes to paint.
