Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. If you want to check the dates either go to the editing area in the Members' area or have a look at your actual artist page by clicking on your image here

My ceramics are mostly informed by my love of nature and my experience as a gardener and garden designer. I love the touch of clay and the process of carving and decorating from a young age. Later studying portrait sculpture, general ceramics, throwing at the wheel, surface design, glaze chemistry and most recently mold making. I especially love working with slip, and scraffito - carving shapes and patterns into the leather hard clay. My other favorite is using translucent celedon glazes influenced by Japanese ceramic traditions and creating decoration in relief. I recently moved into my new pottery barn and I'm looking forwards to developing my work.
