My multimedia work inspired by Norfolk countryside is based on my surroundings and interests - the sea, buildings, trees, birds, figures as well as more abstract/mythological ideas. Movement, energy and balance is expressed using line, colour, texture and sometimes words. The paintings include the use of collage, acrylics, pastel, inks, watercolour - whatever is appropriate at the time. Largely self-taught, I enjoy experimenting with the different techniques I have encountered in various courses. I have also written a children's book based on the adventures of chemical atoms illustrating their chemical properties, a Birthday Book featuring the signs of the zodiac, a self-help book on Chronic Illness and Addictions and a Holistic Anatomy .and Physiology book. Exhibitions: solo exhibition in Bingley Gallery 2018, Maddermarket, Norwich 2017; contribution to exhibitions in Blickling, Norwich, Cley, Cromer, Sheringham, Great Yarmouth, Corpusty, Overstrand, North and South Walsham, Thorpe Market Church and Holt.
