Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. David Jones ('Jones the Pots') makes mainly stoneware pots for domestic use and decoration.
He donates all of his receipts to charity. (Please see website for details.)
At the Open Studios he will be demonstrating throwing pots on the wheel, and offering visitors the opportunity to try it for themselves, in return for a donation to charity.
An apron will be provided, but we advise not wearing your best clothes if you plan to have a go!
You will be able to take away any pot you make, on a small piece of wood. It will still be very wet, but it will dry out in a couple of days. Please note, however, that we won't be able to fire your pot in a kiln for you.
