Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. I am an artist/printmaker living in North Norfolk, a member of the Norwich Printmaking Hub and the Norwich Urban Sketchers group.
I am interested in people going about their everyday lives as a subject for my artwork, people taking pleasure in simple things, such as drinking a cup of coffee, looking out of a train window, or having a conversation with a friend. I try to capture the movement and rhythm of people in motion in my artwork. I am inspired by the beauty of the dancing body form, the swoosh of swirling limbs on a skateboard, or the vibrant energy of musicians playing their instruments. Buildings and structures in urban and rural landscapes also hold a fascination for me.
These subjects are all explored in linocut and other media in my artwork, based on my sketches around Norfolk and beyond.
