I am primarily a watercolour artist, occasionally mixed media. Living by the sea in North Norfolk the colours and textures are always a source of inspiration to me, as is the surrounding countryside. Woodlands always have a lot to offer an artist, beautiful shapes of the trees and the colours of fallen leaves and chestnuts in the Autumn, blossom in the Spring and so much wildlife to spot. I also love our beaches, the weathered wooden groynes, rocks, stones, shells and colours that you can see on the sand, the cliffs and of course the beautiful big Norfolk skies.
Norfolk Churches also have a lot to offer an Artist especially the flint walls, (there are so many colours in Norfolk flint) Old doors with rusty locks and weathered wood, beautiful stained glass windows.
I will have prints and cards of my work for sale as well as framed original watercolours.
Myself and Susanne Lakin are sharing a studio, our work is very different in style, It would be lovely to see you.
