Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. My training began in Norwich where I completed an Art Foundation Diploma. I then went on to study Textile Design for 1 year at Birmingham City University (which really kick started my love for mixed media!) - then I came back to Norfolk to study the rest of my degree at Norwich University of the Arts - completing in 2020...
I have evolved throughout the years, with a love for colour, bold pattern and abstract, vibrant imagery from the beginning. I like to work in a variety of mediums including sublimation design and mixed media painting - using anything I can get my hands on! I take inspiration from my own photography, as well as an eclectic mix of objects and organic forms that surround me in my North Norfolk coastal home.
I like to call myself a ‘Mixed Media Textile Artist’ – with no specific boundaries. I make mixed media creations that often evolve into surface pattern designs, or stay as stand alone art pieces!
