I love to be out and about, walking or cycling in all weathers and find great joy in watching, and capturing on paper, the changing weather conditions in North Norfolk. My work may depict storms, light through clouds or trees, wind, hot sunshine etc. My training in Art Psychotherapy led me to develop my own art by having fun and experimenting with different media so I'm always trying something new. I often start with a textured ground - this may be flat or slightly raised - then work into this using paint, pastels, artists crayons, printing or anything else that I think may show the effect that I'm looking for. My latest fun discovery is gel plate printing which is taking me in a completely different direction by giving surprising results which I often then work into using artists crayons or other media.
