Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. I learnt to knit and crochet when I was a child, inspired by my Mum and Auntie who were always making traditional crafts. I like to use a variety of materials in my work such as wire, wool, glass, recycled materials, paper, hemp, rushes etc., to create one off pieces. I work instinctively allowing the materials to develop the shape, drape and outcome of the pieces.
My work is often sculptural and quite theatrical.
After graduating from Norwich University of the Arts I am continuing to make creations inspired by the coast where I live and nature a constant supply of inspiration.
