Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

Excelling in maths & art as a child, careers advisors told me back in the 70s, 'Well Miss Pluckrose . . . you could always paint computers!' I did not follow their advice, but chose instead to became apprentice to a small graphic design company, where 8 years of training enabled me to explore photography, design, illustration, writing and even construction, (courtesy of exhibition builds). I became self employed after being made redundant back in 1989, but didn't realise my dream of building my own studio until 28 years later. I draw, paint, photograph, recycle & reimagine, garden, design, sculpt and write; my 'Random Rants & Lyrical Threads', are my mindful musings on life, the universe & everything.

I discovered wire as a medium quite by accident, while mending a cast metal fairy's broken wing, back in 2017 and by 2018, I was designing my own range of freeformed & contemporary wire jewellery, inspired by the organic forms of nature I love. In 2021, my 'WildWire' garden sculptures were born out of the creative & social void that was Covid and my beloved garden, (now my 'WildWire Sculpture & Sensory Garden and Carnivorium',) naturally evolved into an extension of my studio display space. Visitors to my studio are now welcome to spend time relaxing with a cup of tea, (or coffee,) while soaking up the sights, sounds & scents in my small WildWire nature haven.

Each year, I create a magical WildWire installation for Swaffham Church, to compliment their Christmas Tree Festival and last year, Westacre Theatre invited me to exhibit some of my WildWire dandelion sculptures in their beautiful grounds; that collaboration is now ongoing.

As in everything I have done since 1989, I am completely self taught. I have found experimentation promotes ingenuity & originality; it also builds confidence to think outside the box. I no longer worry about the right or wrong way to do something - just find my own way and you can see how that has panned out and how I continue to evolve as a habitual creative, by visiting me in my studio and WildWire Sculpture & Sensory Garden.
