Note: if you are viewing this on a mobile device there seems to be a glitch where the dates aren't showing properly. I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. Largely self taught, (following art foundation many years ago) Three years ago I felt inspired to return to painting, and after following the teachings of the the Martin Kinnear School of Painting, I began working in oils.
Before lockdown I had led art, and cognitive therapy groups in care homes and daycare centres. Since then I have twice taken part in The Norfolk Open Studios in the autumn of 2022, and 2023, and North Norfolk Studios in the spring/summer of 2023. I have also exhibited at The Forum in Norwich, Mannington Hall, and Hempstead Hall.
The themes of my paintings derive from the inspiration of countryside, imagination, observation, and mindful images from meditation.
