I won't be fixing this as the same problem doesn't appear to be happening with actual artist pages that the public see. “Surreal creatures and abstract scrap metal sculptures some swayed by wind”…just to sum up what I do!

I mainly use scrap metal but other materials and objects too, to create sculptures which are on display in my gardens and studio. My workshop is also accessible and I’m always delighted to show visitors what and how I make my “creations”. I mainly use an arc welder but other fixing methods as necessary.

The sculptures are displayed in my gardens and my studio which is above my workshop. I am very happy show you around outside the Open Studio event times/period but it’s always best to contact me first to check I’m in.

The sculptures reflect the life around this area of North Norfolk, but also events in the wider world…the countryside and farming, the sea and beaches…and the industry and economic activity around here…such as fishing, agriculture, forestry, off shore gas and the railway heritage.

I am fascinated and intrigued by birds and insects and how they move and our wildlife inspires many of my sculptures.

Inspiration also comes from other artists, in particular, David Smith, Bernard Luginbuhl and Jean Tinguely with their use of metals, especially scrap.

I am open to commissions and my latest are two sculptures in the Churchyard in North Walsham about the history of the Town and its hinterland based on two plough shares and illustrated by pieces donated by local residents and businesses; there’s an interpretation board to explain their relevance.
