Back to my roots in Norfolk I am inspired by my surroundings - the sea, oak trees, colours and skies as well as more abstract and mythological ideas. A particular interest is the flow of energy, movement and balance. I express this with line, colour, texture and sometimes words, using whatever medium seems appropriate - collage, acrylics, pastel, inks, watercolour. Largely self-taught, I enjoy experimenting with different techniques which I have been introduced to during the many courses I have attended over the years.
