I work mainly in oils and take my inspiration from nature and the environment, drawing on my other hobbies of bird watching and walking for sketches and fieldwork.

The North Norfolk coast is a very special place for wildlife and features in many of my works along with scenes from travels to other parts of Britain including my own back garden! In the studio I enjoy the tranquility of painting still life and experimenting with other media in particular pastels and pen and wash.

Over the past 15 years I have exhibited my work widely in Surrey and London and I’m a Fellow of the Molesey Art Society.
