Largely self taught, but did art foundation years ago, also inspired and encouraged by the online teaching of award winning artist Martin Kinnear of Norfolk Painting School. I took up painting in oils about two years ago.
Until lockdown I led art, and cognitive therapy groups in care homes and daycare centres. Since then I have focused on my own painting ,taking part in The Norfolk Open Studios in autumn last year, (and again later this year) and recently exhibited at The Forum, Norwich.
The themes of my paintings derive from the inspiration of countryside, imagination, observation, and mindful images from meditation.
